With help from the Diabetes food pyramid knowing what to eat and when is a good place to start, but it should not end there. I know how hard it can be to suffer from type 2 diabetes, and our goal is to help you fight it together. Stay with us!

Simple Definition of Diabetes

Put simply, diabetes is a disease in which the body’s ability to produce or respond to the hormone insulin is impaired, says a quick Google search.

For the purposes of this informational article, we will focus on Type 2 Diabetes. For info on gestational or Type 1 diabetes, we advise you to look elsewhere.

Type 2 Diabetes Explained

If you have type 2 diabetes, your body does not make or use insulin very well, says National Institute of Health. You can develop this at any age, including during childhood. This type of diabetes occurs most often in middle aged and older people, however. They often wonder, “Does type 2 diabetes cause weight gain?” This is the most common type of diabetes.

You are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes if you are aged 45 or older, have a family history of the disease, or are overweight. Your race, your level of activity, and certain health issues like high blood pressure affect your chance of developing type 2 diabetes. You are also more likely to develop this disease if you have prediabetes or had gestational diabetes when you were pregnant.

How Should I Eat? What Is the Diabetic Food Pyramid?

Having a good diet is key for managing your type 2 diabetes. Now we will have a look at the diabetes food pyramid to make it easier as you plan your meals and manage your levels of insulin, glucose and more.

If you remember the old Food Pyramid from years ago, you will find that it looks a lot like the diabetic food pyramid, which we will examine now. The diabetes food pyramid categorizes food based on its carb content.

In the old Food Pyramid, milk and cheeses were in the dairy category, but in the Diabetes Food Pyramid cheeses are considered proteins, and included in the meat category, and milk group houses foods that contain carbs, like milk and yogurt. Starchy and non-starchy veggies are also separated according to carbs. Portion sizes are adjusted to equate to 15 grams of carbs, or one choice.

The Diabetes Food Pyramid helps those suffering with diabetes pick out the foods that contain carbs and help them recognize the items that will have a greater impact on their blood glucose levels. It may also help patients determine their portion sizes of different foods. It should be noted that both pyramids lack individualization and therefore makes it difficult for people with diabetes to really determine what it is they need and how much they should be eating.

What Can I Do?

Eating right and eating clean is the way to go.

If you do it right, there is the possibility that you could actually reverse your type 2 diabetes. How, you ask? Simple, and I will explain it to you.

It’s all about eating the right stuff and following seven critical steps that will lead you down the path to good health and get your body reset!

The book I am going to tell you about covers EVERYTHING you need to know. Basically, take the information I gave you above and multiply it by ten. Yeah, it’s that good of information.

I’m talking about the guide I used when I decided I was tired of putting up with all the garbage I was being fed by big pharma companies and their chemicals. I was tired of taking endless medications and insulin shots only to have nothing change.

For starters, this thing is 456 pages long, but don’t worry-it’s easy and fun to read and the font is pretty big. You will learn how to reverse type 2 diabetes naturally. You also will get ten great bonuses to add to your learning, but that’s another story.

It’s so cool because I read this, and I started changing my lifestyle right away. I no longer give away thousands just to hear the same rhetoric from my doctor day in and day out. Okay, on with the show!

The Big Diabetes Lie is an eBook program centered around health that was developed by doctors who were tired of seeing their family members and friends fall victim to diabetes. One of the doctors even saw his own father fall ill under the monster that is Type 2 diabetes, and he could take no more of it. The risks of type 2 diabetes are real-amputations, blindness, you name it. Don’t take that gamble any longer.

The book tells you about which foods cause, or make worse, diabetes, and which foods will help provide a cure. It shows you how to focus upon real and clean food and increase your water consumption which will get your body to detox and lose weight.

You can download this as a PDF or you can order it as a hard copy.

I have a review article where I explain my fight with diabetes and how this product helped me overcome it. You can read it by clicking here.

What Are the Basics?

The basis of Big Diabetes Lie is the 30-day plan for diabetes that will help you to manage the symptoms AND cure the root cause of the disease. You have to follow it without fail. You have to be meticulous in your efforts. But think of what is at stake here…

Is not following the plan worth losing a foot?

Is it worth going blind?

Is it worth not being there to see your kids and grandkids make milestones, make achievements, and succeed?

No way! You can do it, and here’s how.

Just start by downloading the eBook and follow the guides and lessons it contains inside. There are plenty of strategies that will help you get the cure going for your diabetes. They include advice on how to get your cholesterol lower without the use of dangerous and chemical filled prescription drugs, how to reduce those food cravings, and how the FDA, yes that FDA, has worked with diabetes medicine companies to suppress natural diabetes cures from the market so they can make money off their medicines for diabetes.

Aside from this, you will also learn about methods to increase your glucose metabolism and how to lower your risk of cancer. You will learn why counting calories is unnecessary when it comes to dropping weight. You will learn how to get those blood sugar levels normal and blood pressure numbers to an acceptable level without the use of medication.

This program is packed to the brim with tons of epic information that is going to simply change your life, and the price is totally worth it and affordable by pretty much everybody.

You will also be surprised to learn some things like I was. For example, I used to be a huge fan of Splenda, Equal, and Nutrasweet. I used it on everything thinking it was making me healthier. Well, turn to page 25 and prepare to be amazed. These zero calorie sweeteners are actually making you fatter.

They actually trick the brain and hinder the body’s ability to estimate calorie intake, and thus make you gain weight. The same goes for diet products. Diet pops and diet foods are only making you gain weight, spike your blood sugar, and put your health in danger.

You will learn how to tell the difference between healthy and unhealthy fats, and also get top knowledge about information that was used in Norway to get more than 17,000 people off their diabetes medication and their insulin as well. You will learn about a common spice you probably have in your kitchen that you can use to get your glucose metabolism increased twice over!

Chances are you might be a little skeptical, so we will now answer some of the most frequently asked questions about diabetes and this program in general.

Can Undiagnosed Diabetes Cause Weight Gain?

Signs point to yes in regard to “can undiagnosed Diabetes cause weight gain”. Some early diabetes symptoms, says health.com, are well known, such as “constant thirst, excessive urination, or sudden weight gain or loss[.]” According to Susan Dopart, M.S., R.D., C.D.E. writing for HuffPost, one of the signs of diabetes is gradual weight gain that is often chalked up to age. Keep an eye on the scales if you suspect you may be at risk for diabetes.

What Are the Benefits of The Big Diabetes Lie?

This program is loaded with information from the heads of not one, not two but five different doctors. In just as little as 30 days, you can see results-some people even stated they saw results after just one week.

You can also take comfort in the fact that you can get this as a hard copy. Other products I’ve seen like this usually only come in eBook format, which is annoying for those of us that like to make notes in the margins or highlight with a yellow highlighter pen.

Everything is written in an easy to understand format. The recipes that you find inside are loaded with foods I can guarantee you are stocked at your local grocery store-there is no need to go around to other stores collecting so called magical ingredients to make the recommended meals.

The recipes are simple and easy to make and follow, and as long as you follow the techniques and meal plans included you will have an easy time and see results right away.

Is This A Scam?

The old saying goes that if something sounds way too good to be true, it probably is. Yeah, I thought that too. However, I was glad to spend a nominal amount of money to get my diabetes under control and I was glad I did, but not before reading some reviews from other users. You should go check these out for yourself. If you don’t have time, check out my paraphrased words below of happy customers:

“This book was extremely informative…we both feel much better and I’m passing the information …to my friends.”-Carol L.

“I followed the recommendations for eating healthy and the best type of exercise for my age. Within three months I no longer needed any medications and still don’t 3 years later.”-Norma

“4 months later……..I rarely test over 100 w/no ketones. Crave the smoothies and feel great… Without increased perament [sic] sugar levels. A cure? Only time will tell.”-Bob R.

Living with diabetes does not have to be a thing any longer. You absolutely can take control of your own destiny and be your own boss when it comes to rolling back your type 2 diabetes.

I can personally say this program was not easy. I think part of the reason I suffered from type 2 diabetes was because I craved so much of that junky, processed rubbish we call food today. I needed to make a big change and I did not know how to do it.

This book put me on the right path and I consider it my personal savior as far as diabetes goes. And wouldn’t you know it, I feel so good I never want to go back. I do have some unhealthy junk once in a while, but it is few and far between, such as holidays or birthday parties. Even then I make my own desserts to share our good clean ingredients.

You can do this too. Give yourself the chance to try it and stop living with diabetes. Just stick with it, we are all rooting for you!
